Jerry and Faith McCollough were Assemblies of God missionaries/Gospel illustrators, and retired in 2010. They were trained as commercial artists at Woodbury University in Burbank California, and began working together on illustrations while serving in Brussels, Belgium. They also served in Bulgaria, Slovakia and Germany. They illustrated numerous books for Global University and four illustrated narrative Bible stories while in Belgium. They researched, wrote and illustrated two historic evangelical books on Christian heroes, published in several languages. The Christmas Elephant was the first book they have illustrated that was based on a current missionary’s experience, coupled with creative poetic narrative.The McColloughs currently live in Fort Worth, Texas, have two children and four grandchildren.

Dr. Doug Derbyshire, with his wife Cheryl, have been a medical missionaries in Thailand since 1992. God’s name, God’s people, and God’s Word are his great priorities in life. A series of family commentaries rises from his notes gleaned from countless hours in personal Bible study, as well as the notebooks filled with pages of records from their family Bible studies, when he and his wife would sit with their 4 children and happily study God’s word together. Today, all 4 of their children remain faithful servants of the Lord and avid students of His word.

Born to Bangladeshi, Muslim parents, Rezwana Derbyshire is a passionate follower of Jesus. After a long season of waiting for God’s timing she is now eagerly sharing her gifts as a singer, songwriter, and now-author to make God’s name known in all the earth.Rezwana and her husband Gary (who is a senior pastor) live, make music, and minister in Phoenix with their four spirited children. She is also an avid tea drinker (with milk and sugar, please), expert Cheerio sweeper, and finder of lost things.

Glenna Derbyshire began to love God’s word when she was a teenager and was on a Bible quiz team when she was 17 she began teaching others The Word with the desire to encourage them to love it too.  Currently  she is head of G.l.G.G.L.E.S. ministries which includes a multi generational and multicultural Bible study as well as fun events that encourage us to ask other women to join us. They work together to make our mission statement a reality; G. Girlfriends I.Influenced G. God G. Grow L. Love E.Encourage S. Serve. She has written several Bible studies including Jesus Send Me, and coming soon Journal of Joy.
